Things felt a little weird on Easter this year, huh? Even I will admit that it really did not feel like Easter. I always look forward to Easter for many different reasons. First, since the weather becomes semi-tolerable, Mooie will tolerate traveling up from Florida to see her kids and grandson. Second,  I love seeing the kids hunt for eggs and show off what they got in their baskets. Finally, and most importantly, it usually means my birthday is quickly approaching. But not this year. This year I actually spent the day making phone calls to New York State residents that have applied for unemployment and are waiting to receive their benefits. I also spent Easter this year alone. No family, no friends and definitely no Easter dinner. No, this year, things were very different.

While I can sit here focusing on what Easter wasn’t this year, I also can sit here and focus on what it was. It was a day spent helping and listening to people who aren’t receiving a pay check or have recently been laid off, with no idea of what to do next. It was spent trying to get the correct information needed to speed up their application, while letting them know, we are working as hard as we can. It was in my home with my dogs and my boyfriend. It was spent with all of us and our family members healthy and safe and not hooked up to a ventilator. It was spent celebrating Easter in a bunny costume, throwing candy to kids while keeping our distance. But mainly, it was spent with the hope that what we are all doing will pay off and we will be able to get back to our normal routines, celebrating with family and friends.

On the same day, his wife filed soft pill cialis for divorce. Vacuum pushes are erectile buying viagra in italy malfunction treatments which have been around for so many years. Diabetes patients carry a probability of losing neural function towards the viagra purchase canada male genital organs and other characteristics in men that use anabolic steroids. Due to its importance in our tadalafil pharmacy lives, sexual disorders thus have profound negative impact.

It is hard to accept when times are tough or traditions are broken, especially when it comes to holiday,  but we have to remember to look at the bigger picture. We have to remember that by staying home and keeping our distance, along with scrubbing our skin red, we will be guaranteed an Easter next year. And unfortunately, now more than ever, we need to count that as a blessing. I hope everyone had a beautiful day and made the most out of all that God has given us.

I always feel so blessed on my birthday, and for many reasons. First, I have so much love around me on my birthday. From text messages with twenty different emoji’s or posts on my Facebook, my birthday is definitely a day where it is all about me. My family and my friends make sure, that […]

Isn’t is weird when close friends find themselves in similar situations that you, yourself were once in? As women, we are always quick to give our advice, because 99% of the time we think we can relate to the situation with a similar experience. But that is the thing. We think we can relate and […]

I had a pretty real conversation tonight with Brittany who waxes my eyebrows at European Wax Center (go see her, you won’t regret it – she is fabulous!) I mean as real as you can get in the 7 minutes it takes her to wax my eyebrows, but she brought up something that really got […]

This past Saturday was my Grandma’s birthday. She would have been 104 years old. As many grandmothers are, she was and still is my everything. I know she is always watching over me, sometimes shaking her head and sometimes clapping with excitement. I lost my Grandma over 10 years ago and yet it seems like […]
