Hi Friend! And welcome to my blog, aka my life. I wanted to create a space where people can stop by to have a quick read and walk way with something on their mind. Whether it be reviews about my favorite new places to eat around the Capital District, or my latest shopping splurge that I am now regretting, but secretly telling myself “I deserve this!” – my readers are the ones behind how my mind thinks these days! I wanted to create a site that brings passion and excitement, mixed in with a little confetti to peoples lives. A place where I will speak my mind, and deal with it later. But mainly I wanted my blog to be a representation of my life and all of the wonderful things in it, that I want to share with you.

The content that I post on here, is strictly my own. Now, I will steal some stories from my closest friends, but never do I use anyone’s name, last four of their SSN, or mother’s maiden name. Kidding. But really, I do not need to get paid to write about things that I like or I don’t. No, I will just tell you and if you don’t want to listen, well, then why are you still reading? I am not looking to make money and I am certainly not going to give you some mumbo jumbo crap about how I will transform your life. Nope not here. You are on your own honey. Instead, I will share with you products, places around the Capital District (New York – and no, not the city. It is called Upstate NY, and yes we exist) and just everyday life drama that we all deal with in some messed up way.

Look, no ones life is perfect and I am sure as hell not going to spend 3 hours trying to get a perfect picture of my perfect life (complete with perfect makeup, perfect hair, and perfect matching pajamas) with my perfect boyfriend and perfect dogs sitting around the fireplace on a perfect Hermes blanket, as we toast marshmallows while pretending to play a perfect game of Scrabble. AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT! Life is a mess. My life is a mess at times. I will be the FIRST to admit that. I work ridiculously long hours, I rarely see my boyfriend during the summer, my dogs are constantly destroying my blinds, and I probably spend way too much time on Instagram looking at other people’s perfect lives. BUT, I wouldn’t change my life for anything because I adore my coworkers and what I am doing. I love the time I do spend with my boyfriend in the summer, creating memories that more than likely will not be captured through a “perfect” picture. I love my dogs, who are probably the cutest thing on the Earth and who remind me that blinds are replaceable. AND in the end, I always ask myself, “Who really wants to be perfect, in such a crazy, messed up world?!” xo
